I am a professor, inventor and author based in New York.
I teach philosophy, law and classics at Baruch College. My research focuses on the mathematics of infinite games, philosophy of cognitive science, classics and jurisprudence.
I am an elected District Leader and Vice-Chair of the New York County Democratic Committee. I also serve on the National Finance Committee of the DNC.
I hold a third-dan in Shogi and a National Master title in chess. I've also published work on the theory of optimal play in poker. In sports, I hold third-dan in Musu Jikiden Eishen Ryu Iaido and second-dan in Hiken Musu Ryu Iaijutsu, two disciplines of Japanese fencing.
I live in New York with my wife, two beautiful daughters and enormous fluffy samoyed.
